Cabernet Sauvignon is an exciting cultivar to work with, challenging our winemaker to produce top quality wines. Produced from dry land conditions, the berries are very small and concentrated with perfect balance of aromas, colourand ripe tannins.
“Barrel Selection” stands for unique barrels that can display subtle differences originating from different coopers, forest, tightness of grain, age, toasting and flavor profile. With meticulous care our Proprietor selects and blends the best barrels to bring you this premium wine. 50 % new French oak was used to age the wine for 16 months.
The “Ormonde Barrel Selected Cabernet Sauvignon” shows hints of black pepper, vanilla, toasty oak and flamed berries complemented by black berry fruit and spice on the palate.
