Great intensity and liveliness. Very complex and ever-changing.
Very ripe red and black fruits, toasted notes, fennel and other balsamic notes, spices, minerals, and Mediterranean herbs. Over time, these notes evolve toward compotes, fine toasted notes, chocolate, coffee, and tobacco, while retaining a fresh aromatic depth reminiscent of younger wines. Bold tannins and very good acidity.
It evolves into very rounded, fine, and elegant wines, with hints of very tasty ripe fruit, well-polished and somewhat creamy toasted notes, and round and soft minty tannins. A very long and balanced wine.
